The association's structure
1. A networking based structure
Many networks already exist, especially professional ones (cities, architects...) or thematic ones (about Energy, Water, Waste...) and the objective is to gather all these networks. For each type of network, different types of partnerships should allow synergy and to get quickly and better each one objectives in respect of each one specificities.
So, inside the European association different networks are gathered or worked out (according to the schema about the association structure):
- national networks par pays afin de disposer des informations et références majeures dans les langues nationales pour une plus large diffusion et d’organiser des manifestations.
- thematic networks for the sustainable development pilars or main topics as well as for the main topics of urban management such as Urban renewal or Land Planning.
- professional networks: architects, social owners, ingénieurs local authorities, etc.
At least, the coordinators of these different networks (which can be existing networks too), are in charge of:
- the animation of their network: in the making of working groups, within European projects proposals or projects, etc.
- updating the web site (information).
- dissemination of approaches, actions from the association and the management of national and European workshops and/or conferences.
- validation of the information added on the web site (The documents added on the web are validated by the coordinators and the members of the Board).
