1. The SUSI-Man European project
SUDEN is involved in this European project as a scientific partner. SUSI-Man deals with integrating environment and sustainable development in urban projects (Environment and Sustainable Development Integration in Urban Plans and Management Projects).
This project is coordinated by the UCCSA (Union des Communautés de Communes du Sud de l'Aisne, in France) whose President is Renaud Dutreil (also French minister of craft industry and trade) and includes 29 pilot projects of local communities, land planners, social owners, public administration, etc.

2. The Factor 4 European project being set up
This project is coordinated by SUDEN and deals with existing social housing buildings for improving their energy efficiency and using renewable energy in order to participate in reducing greenhouse gas emission. The French partners are: La Calade, The USH (Union Sociale de l'Habitat) and its consultant HTC, as well as Moulins Habitat.
